How to Stop Avast Threat Secured?

Avast's security solution built to protect your business data and computers from many types of cyberattacks, runs on the suite of modules to scan many parts of the system. 

One module, Internet Shield, was created to scan the sites you view and prevent any malicious code from being found.

From time to time Avast threat secured keeps popping up. To bypass Avast and visit a blocked website, you will need to disable the Internet Shield module or add the website to an Exclusions list.

 

Some websites can be dangerous, so your computer system and data are at risk as the module will be disabled.


Disabling Internet Shield 

1 Right-click the "Avast" icon in the lower right corner of the screen (in the system tray) and select "Open Avast! 

2 click" Real-Time Shields "in the navigation panel on the left to see all modules 

3 Click the "Web Shield" module on the left to see your preferences in the perfect panel 

4 Click the "Stop" button to disable Web Shield 

5 Select "Stop for 10 minutes" to temporarily block the click or protect "Cease Permanently" to permanently block the module 

6 Click "Yes" to verify activity and then disable the module as well 

7 Visit the sites that were blocked by Avast. Once you have finished browsing, restart the Internet Shield module by simply clicking the "Start" button on the Web Shield settings screen where you previously clicked the "Stop" button. 

 

Add websites to the list of Exclusions List

 

  • Double click the "Avast" icon in the system tray to launch the user interface. 
  • Clicks the tab "Real time Shields" on the left and right, then click on the "Pasante et Shield" item.
  • Click the "Professional Settings" button to open the Web Shield settings window. 
  • Click the "Insert" button to include the website in the Exclusions list. 
  • Enter all the websites you would like to view and click "OK" to store your settings
  • Close the window.
